Living in the Dyfi Vallery in West Wales, I am a painter exploring seascape and landscape in both abstract and representational forms. Working predominately in oil I am looking to capture the energy and the drama of the coast and the open sea. I look to explore the emotional pull of colour and texture to bring the sea alive.I also endeavour to bring this energy to my figurative and purely abstract work. I look to produce, and express a deep inner celtic identity through my creative work in all its forms.

My influences are too many and diverse to list . I will always seek to capture an essence, a feeling, a memory that can both be shared, but also a deeply personal experience.

Art is about having faith, believing in your own individual artistic voice, sometimes self sustaining, but never without the support of others.

Go raibh maith agaibh mo chaide! ( many thanks to all my friends )
